Engraving
Engraved concrete is a technique to remodel existing concrete by cutting lines and grooves into its surface.
Geometric patterns, straight or curved lines and custom designs can be cut directly into the surface of the concrete creating the look of tile, flagstone, cobblestone, and many other common surface patterns. New surfaces can also be engraved.
The process of engraving existing surfaces involves:
- Chemical cleaning
- Repairing the cracks (if any)
- Staining the concrete
- Engraving out a pattern
- Cleaning and sealing
